AO’s Teams is only accessible through the browser only. It is not possible to access it through your installed Teams application.
Maybe your organization blocks accessing other Teams. It is possible to then access it via a private / incognito window in your browser.

There are two options to log in:
Log in using the using the link
1. Click on the link you received.
2. Send a code to your email.
3. Copy the code from the email and add it to the browser
4. Accept the policy
5. Add the Microsoft authenticator
6. Select “Use the web app instead”
Log in using your Microsoft account
1. Go to https://www.office.com/ and click sign in
2. Sign in with your Microsoft account
3. Click on the “waffle” on the top left and choose Teams
4. Select “Use the web app instead”
