Do I need to store my credit card details to have a AO Membership with auto-renewal?

Yes. The AO Foundation offers auto-renewal based memberships on a yearly base. Memberships that are valid longer than one year, have to be renewed pro actively. However, you will be asked to save your credit card information in your profile in any case.
